They're easy to open and close, however I found their textured plastic coatings to be a bit difficult on the fingers.
The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes the complete set of features you'd expect from a fridge in this price range with Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your fridge from anywhere in the world, and it has a ton of customization options. It also alerts you when doors are left open, when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted and when it's time to change the filter.
It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill which is a feature found in a few GE refrigerators that allow users to choose how many cups they want to pour out. It also has a countdown feature on the display of the fridge to display how much water have left, but it's not as helpful as Precise Fill.
Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
Created to appear like a seamless piece of your kitchen Bosch's French door refrigerator is a standout. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also features a veggie compartment which keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer, and two compressors for preserving food. The ice maker is one of the most efficient we've ever tested and produces pyramid-shaped ice that is low in water consumption. This refrigerator is the ideal choice for single household or kitchenettes that want a built-in look and top-of-the-line food preservation.
This refrigerator was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. The freezer temperatures remained steady at just a few degrees Fahrenheit and never changing more than a fraction one degree. This is crucial to preventing freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well, reaching the desired temperature for initial set within an hour and maintaining that temperature steady throughout the course of our tests.
Bosch is a household name for its high-end appliances. The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth fridge is a great choice for those who need lots of space within the space of a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge features a standard French door design, and two rows of shelves that can be used to capture spills and a set crisper drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more room. There's also a full-width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.
The refrigerator comes with an ice maker, making it easy to move the ice when needed. The freezer features thoughtful design elements, as well, such as sliding drawers to help you to organize the place of your items. It comes with a large bin to store frozen food items, and a separate bin for ice.
Another cool feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. It allows you to manage the refrigerator's temperature, lighting, and more via your smartphone. It's a good method of monitoring and managing your refrigerator, particularly if you're away from home.
The Smart InstaView feature is neat but it doesn't improve the performance of the fridge. The fridge took a bit longer to chill food and defrost it than the other fridges we test. This could be due to its greater capacity.

It's a basic fridge that may not be as appealing like some of its competitors however, it does have enough features to make it a suitable choice. Its most notable feature is the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food items such as vegetables and meat fresher longer. It also has a large water and ice maker dispenser.
The "Chill Drawer", which sits above the two crisper bins, is a great feature. This drawer lets you redirect some of the refrigerator's cooling power directly to this area, so you can store foods that require extra attention. This feature can be adjusted by using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. You can also use this feature to set a general cooling setting for the entire fridge but I've noticed that adjusting the generic settings tends to be more effective than specific ones.
During my tests, the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly constant across the different areas of the refrigerator.
